Perry Rousseau
Perry is a licensed carpenter and certified Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) builder with over 30 years experience in the construction industry, including log homes and traditional home construction. Perry also builds radiant floor heating and works with Legalett slabs.
Very direct, he always puts his clients' best interests first, and will tell you what you need to know, not what you want to hear. He is ready at a moment's notice to share his extensive knowledge with all his clients, to help them make the best decisions for their project, whatever his involvement.
Clients have commented, "Whether you like Perry or not, you'll remember him. He gets the job done right."
Perry first started framing in Whistler, and by 1982, started his first company, doing framing and exterior finishing. In 1990, he moved to the Ottawa Valley, and started a new company, Cross-Cut Construction, specializing in custom homes.
In the early 90's, Perry found new use for his carpentry skills and founded another company called White Lake Woodshop. This company made outdoor furniture for lawn and garden, such as chairs, tables, arbours, and also trellises, window boxes, and gazebos. He still did framing and custom homes.
Perry first began working with ICF in the early 2000's, interested in the material's superior energy efficiency. He liked it so much that he built his own house using ICF in 2002.
At this point, he re-united with an old friend, Arden Robitaille, who ran Arden Robitaille Construction (ARC) and they did several construction projects together.
They co-founded Robro in 2006. Arden left the company to pursue other interests, and Perry became sole owner in 2015.
